No Time to Slow Down!

Hey guys! Quick Monday post.  I will be back tomorrow with another.  We have back to school night tonight so I am of course going to take some pictures of Ms Anna Claire at her school. :)

Had a great weekend!  All weekend are great!  We went to eat with Michael's parents Friday night.  Anna Claire chose "Meximen."  She likes the cheese dip.  Then we went to Yogn Frut afterwards.  We love that place!  I like the fact that its semi healthier than regular ice cream.  I like watermelon :)  Anna Claire put strawberry ice cream with m&ms and sour gummy bears.  NASTY!  To each his own I guess.

Saturday morning, my parents picked the kids up for the weekend.  I was able to clean the house (not fun) and then go shopping (way fun) with my friend, Misti.  FYI, I found the best lip balm ever!!! Its by Josie Maran.

LOVE IT!

We went to a pancake dinner at the school for the ladies basketball team.  I love pancakes for dinner!  Then for the first time in a month, Michael and I actually sat down and watched a movie.

We have been go go go.  I don't think we have even sat down for a meal at our new house.  That will change tonight.  Its just tacos but we will sit together and eat. :)

Good Morning!!

My big girl!

I told y'all it would be short :)

Have a happy Monday!!!!

It's Coming!

I may be annoying people with my fall excitement, but seriously... who doesn't get a little bit excited about seeing pumpkins and fall flowers?!

I have even been thinking about what my kiddos are going to be for Halloween.  This is also the time of year that I start my Christmas shopping.  I know I know... I am a little  lot early.  I like to be done with the shopping part of Christmas before December gets here.  Last year we were able to just enjoy the whole month which consisted of cookie baking, Polar Express watching, and light looking.  :)

So, Paxton got tubes last Thursday.  We woke up before 5 that morning ( I ,of course, had to have make up and decent hair).  We grabbed Paxton and put him in the car before he could process being awake.  We arrived right before 6:30 at the Surgical Center.  He was one of three babies there for tubes.  They had him in a gown by 7:30.

The anesthesiologist came in and talked to us.  He explained that right after he wakes up there will be a period of about 30 minutes that he will be very irritable and disoriented.  I do not do well with anesthesia so I was certain that he would take after me.  The doctor and nurse came in to speak to us briefly.  The nurse took him from me and they left.  Michael and I went back in the waiting room and I promise you, we sat there for a total of like 10 minutes!  Seriously, it was super fast!  One family went on back the recovery area when their names were called, not us.  When they called us, we had to go to the conference room.  The doctor came in and told us that Pax had two ear infections.  SOOO thankful we did the tubes!  Then, we went to the recovery room to this:

This went on for exactly 30 minutes!  Then it was:

And then 30 more minutes later:

Then after a nice nap when we got home:

Harassing daddy.  Everyone told me how easy the procedure is, but I was a little ansy about it.  Now, I am excited for the winter to test those puppies out!

He went back to daycare Friday and did great!  Friday night Anna Claire and I had a girls night out.  We went to the store and I let her pick out her snacks for the next week of school.  She chose popcorn, fruit loops, and some cookies.  Don't worry, I will add healthy things in there too.  Then she bought her some Tinkerbell "Giggles" (goggles) for swimming.  I took her to eat and then we met my cousins at their hotel.

Anna Claire loves Katelyn.  :)

We had a good night.  Saturday, my parents came up and brought a book shelf that my grandfather made.  We are using it in Anna Claire's room. I will have to post a picture of it soon.

We have some exciting things coming up!  Mostly with church, Michael just put our deposit down for Winter Xtreme in Gatlinburg for New Year's Eve!  Yay!!!!

I hope everyone has a TERRIFIC week!!!!  I will leave you with some pictures that I took of my babies this morning.

And I don't know how I could have a bad day after looking at this:

Love this song!!!!

I can almost feel Fall!!!!

Happy Marvelous Monday!!!!

Yea, I am a little overly excited about this Monday.  No particular reason why, just happy.  Anna Claire is happy in her new school, Paxton is healthy ( I think it has something to do with us not having carpet in the new house ), Michael is excited about his new job, and I am excited about FALL!  I am ready for mums, pumpkin pies, Yankee Candle's new fragrance Pumpkin Buttercream , high school football games, too cold for shorts and tanks but too warm for sweater weather!!!!  Yay!!  With this said.... I was given some pears last week and was wondering what I could do (semi healthy) with them.  Sooooo.....

I peeled them, cut them, and simmered them in a little smart balance butter and Splenda.

Then I rolled them in reduced fat croissant rolls :)  Okay, I said SEMI Healthy not 100%.  They were sooo yummy!  I think I want to try them with apples or peaches.

I think that the smell of pears cooking and the fact that Michael and I went to a high school football game Friday night sparked my "fall fever."

Oh and a bucket of Okra and Cucumbers that a friend of mine gave us :)  Paxton loved playing with them, haha!

Speaking of Pax, he will have tubes put in his ears on Thursday!  Maybe I should be sad that he will have a mini procedure... but I am not.  I am thankful.  I do not want him to have to go through the winter that we had last time.

He loves to "help" with laundry while mama gets dressed.

Oh yea, so Anna Claire LOVES her new school!  She stayed on green light all week and got a Winnie the Pooh puzzle out of the treasure chest Friday.  Michael and I went and bought her a back pack Friday night.  :)  She is a big girl!

And.... I know its about a month late BUT I have some pictures from Paxton's 2nd 1st birthday party ( ok that was confusing ) and yea, there is a lot :)

I told you there were a lot!

And I will leave you with this.... even though my morning started off like this:

It ended up with me thinking about this all day:

fall tree

Have a great week!!!!

Ahhhh.... Another Week!

Hi there!  Tuesday is about to be over.  I can say that it was a better day than Monday!  I am definitely ready for Wednesday though!  The middle of the week!  Everything is down hill from there!

What have we been up to?  Let's see....

1.)  We got moved in!  Yay!  There are still boxes everywhere though!  I have located my hair brush ( it was lost for two days)  and we have found socks!  Michael's mom and dad took Wednesday and Thursday to help him and they pretty much got everything over there!  That was a blessing!  Saturday, since Michael had to work, I had lots of "help" from the kids.

Yes I had to use the gate!  I caught him eating dog food a couple of times :)
I turned Blues Clues on for Anna Claire and she was very content to let me unpack some boxes.
They were exhausted after "helping."
2.)  Michael had his first full week as the student pastor at our new church home!  I love to see him so happy!  I haven't been able to spend much time with him in the past couple of weeks though.  Between moving, ball games, and just work in general there hasn't been much sitting around time.  Not complaining though! I am just happy that God has opened this door for our family!

3.)  Anna Claire is now officially a kindergartner.  :(  and :)  We made the decision ( sort of spur of the moment) to send her to 3K a little early and get her started with learning.  She just hasn't been happy at the daycare and we decided to make this move.  I am super excited!  She loves her teacher and her classroom.  Everyone please just keep her in your prayers.

:)

I hope everyone has a great rest of the week!
