This is a busy time of year for us. This week alone is packed with things that need to be done. I don't think we have a free night all week. Not really complaining though. I am enjoying the things that we are doing. We have our Fish Fry Fundraiser coming up this Saturday, and Saturday morning we have the (in) RL web cast!! So excited about that. I have been looking forward to that the most. (In) Courage is an awesome place to connect with women through daily devotionals! Check it out!
Paxton's new face. He does it all the time now. I think he might have learned that at daycare. :)
Anna Claire's teacher sent me this picture last Friday. She is holding a worm and saying she is going fishing.
This one wouldn't take off his sister's hat.
Bless her...
They love going to stay at the grandparents house
For the past few weeks, the girls in our youth group have been going through a bible study called How to Become a Proverbs 31 Girl.
I have so enjoyed studying this. Instead of trying to be the women that the world says we should be, we are learning about how to be the women that GOD says we should be. So far, we have learned that she is supposed to Seek God for Wisdom in Everything, Be Trustworthy, and to be Diligent. That is the one that I struggle with the most. Everything from working with a smile on my face to folding clothes and not grumbling about it. Try it, its hard! I know that our girls struggle with it too. Especially in school... I remember TEN years ago ( seriously? I'm that old? ) how difficult it was to get up and go to school. I only wish it were that easy now. The girls got a gift from me last night :O)
Remember that verse next time you clean a toilet!
I hope everyone has a great rest of the week! Only Tuesday, BUT Friday is coming!!!!!
I'll leave you with this awesome recipe!
Cream Cheese Chocolate Chip Cookies
Yes ma'am! Yummy goodness right there!
My batter. I used white chocolate chips and almonds instead of chocolate chips.
The end result :)
"A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more that rubies." Proverbs 31:10
