I Am Working With All My Heart

That title rings true... That is what we have been studying in our Proverbs 31 Girl bible study at church...  More on that later... Right now though, I need to share this video with you.

Yes, the kids and I listen to this every morning.  Anna Claire calls it my favorite song.  :)  It doesn't matter what morning it is, whether it be Monday or Friday!

This is a busy time of year for us.  This week alone is packed with things that need to be done.  I don't think we have a free night all week.  Not really complaining though.  I am enjoying the things that we are doing.  We have our Fish Fry Fundraiser coming up this Saturday, and Saturday morning we have the (in) RL web cast!!  So excited about that.  I have been looking forward to that the most.  (In) Courage is an awesome place to connect with women through daily devotionals!  Check it out!

Paxton's new face.  He does it all the time now.  I think he might have learned that at daycare. :)

Anna Claire's teacher sent me this picture last Friday. She is holding a worm and saying she is going fishing.

This one wouldn't take off his sister's hat.

Bless her...

They love going to stay at the grandparents house

For the past few weeks, the girls in our youth group have been going through a bible study called How to Become a Proverbs 31 Girl.

I have so enjoyed studying this.  Instead of trying to be the women that the world says we should be, we are learning about how to be the women that GOD says we should be.  So far, we have learned that she is supposed to Seek God for Wisdom in Everything, Be Trustworthy, and to be Diligent.  That is the one that I struggle with the most.  Everything from working with a smile on my face to folding clothes and not grumbling about it.  Try it, its hard!  I know that our girls struggle with it too.  Especially in school... I remember TEN years ago ( seriously?  I'm that old? ) how difficult it was to get up and go to school.  I only wish it were that easy now.  The girls got a gift from me last night :O)

Remember that verse next time you clean a toilet!

I hope everyone has a great rest of the week!  Only Tuesday, BUT Friday is coming!!!!!

I'll leave you with this awesome recipe!

Cream Cheese Chocolate Chip Cookies

Yes ma'am!  Yummy goodness right there!

My batter.  I used white chocolate chips and almonds instead of chocolate chips.

The end result :)

Sorrows May Last for the Night... BUT Joy Comes With the Morning!

Happy After Easter... I was reminded by someones Tweet the other day that,"The Tomb is Still Empty!"  That is reassuring especially in this world we are living in.

We have had a great last couple of weeks. I love this time of year!

Dying Easter Eggs

Hunting Eggs

Paxton was a pro at hunting for eggs.  He didn't need any help finding them.  he knew that there was candy inside most of them :o) and boy knows he can find food ANYWHERE!

Michael's MeMe and Papaw's 50th wedding anniversary is this month so we had a small family get together at our house Friday.  Not many people make it that long so it is definitely worth celebrating.

We have a fish fry fundraiser on the 28th of this month and Michael and his parents have been busy trying to catch fish for it.  The kids and I went out with them Saturday.  Pax and Anna Claire played with the rubber worms and I was trying to tan but burnt instead.  It was a beautiful day to be out on the water.

Of Course the Easter bunny came for a visit :o)

Sunday morning was gorgeous!  You couldn't ask for a better day!

We spent Sunday afternoon at Michael's Aunt and Uncle's house just enjoying the weather.

Michael's Aunt Diane :)

It was a perfect weekend.  Lots of good things happening this summer too!  Can't wait!

I do apologize for all of the pictures... I couldn't help it.

And I will leave you with a few more.
